Heart & Caution.

“When you’re young, your whole life is about the pursuit of fun. Then, you grow up and learn to be cautious. You could break a bone or a heart. You look before you leap and sometimes you don’t leap at all because there’s not always someone there to catch you. And in life, there’s no safety net. When did it stop being fun and start being scary?”

It started being scary when you needed to be caught, and breaking a bone or a heart became something you felt would be too painful to bear. *hug*

When you’re young, your whole life is about the pursuit of fun. You do break many bones and your heart many times. But it’s just part of the fun, isn’t it?

Or perhaps, it stops being fun and starts being scary, when you feel you NEED someone ELSE to catch you. That you can’t survve the leap if there is nobody to catch. Firstly, there usually are people to catch, often we don’t realise. And if there isn’t, we just end up with a few more bruises. Or worse, if that’s what’s meant to be. And if it is meant to be, then even having someone to catch you won’t make a difference.

    lov u babe.

  4. It only starts being scary when you think, or acknowledge that others might consider, that having fun might be improper at that stage.. so don’t, and keep having fun.. =)
